It Takes Some Craziness to Be Creative and Productive

My daughter once asked me, “Daddy, when you become a grandfather, will you still be mischievous?” My answer? I’ll be even more mischievous! Why? Because no one can do anything to me. Embracing a bit of craziness and unconventionality keeps life interesting and fosters creativity and productivity.

The Importance of Relationships:

I have spoken a lot about maximizing your life, and one key aspect of this is the relationships you cultivate. From primary school to university, from your workplace to the person you marry, relationships matter a lot. If it weren’t for my wife, I might have ended up in serious trouble by now.

Social Media and Relationships:

Today, social media plays a significant role in the relationships we cultivate. Take, for example, the man from Uganda known as Mr. Lover Lover. He goes shirtless around markets, creating a unique audience on social media, and recently received an award for 1 million views on YouTube. Or the boy with big eyes and a unique head shape from Tanzania or Uganda, whose videos have garnered millions of views.

Intentional Relationships:

Who you relate with determines what is related to you. Select your friends carefully. If you live near a mad man for too long, you might find yourself singing his songs while washing clothes. Your relationships shape who you are and what you achieve.

The Power of Connection:

In our last conference, more than 300 people registered from all over the world because of the relationships we cultivated through this medium. The basis of these relationships is a shared desire to improve ourselves and help others.

Supporting Young Women:

I recently did a video about a program we are organizing for young girls at the Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro. These girls are working hard to pay their school fees and avoid falling into unhealthy situations. Thanks to the relationships I have cultivated, someone sent in half a million naira to support these girls, and another person from the United States has promised to send more. This is the power of relationships.

Relationships Determine Your Worth:

Your network can determine your net worth. Intentionally cultivate relationships that benefit both you and others. Think of the good of humanity and create connections that matter.

Final Thoughts:

Remember, sometimes it takes a bit of craziness to be creative and productive. Embrace it!

God bless you!
