Be Very Calm and Careful Don’t Return Home Harmed or Broke

Greetings, dear friends. I am Dr. Charles Apoki, here to share some vital insights to help you navigate this festive season wisely and start the new year strong.

Lessons from My Wealthy Friends

One thing I’ve observed about my very rich friends is their calmness and calculative nature. They’re always mindful of their cash flow, and even in moments of celebration, their minds are far ahead, carefully planning and strategizing. Like them, you must remain calm and focused during this festive season.

Practical Advice for the Festive Season

  1. Be Careful:

    • Where you go.
    • When you go.
    • Who you go with.
    • What you eat.
    • What you say and to whom you say it.
  2. Avoid Unnecessary Conflicts:

    • Don’t fight over issues that don’t concern you.
    • Don’t inherit enemies, especially in the village.
  3. Mind Your Finances:

    • Remember that bills for house rent, electricity, school fees, and worker salaries await in January.
    • Don’t return home broke.
  4. Be Wary of Expectations:

    • For those in the diaspora, be cautious about how you spend. No matter how much you give, people will always think you have more.
  5. Have Reserves:

    • In case of emergencies, ensure you have savings to cover unexpected expenses for yourself and your family.

Avoid Overindulgence

In tough economic times, people often overcompensate with excessive celebrations, prayers, or fasting. While it’s good to celebrate and trust God, remember these truths:

  • Rest is vital. You’ve worked hard all year; take time to recharge.
  • You can’t attend every wedding, burial, or Thanksgiving. Choose wisely.
  • Start your year early. Those who made money during Christmas were busy planning and working while others were celebrating.

Financial Strategy

At the start of the year, cash is king. Many people will sell cars, land, and buildings out of financial desperation. If you have cash to invest, you can make great opportunities work in your favor.

Spiritual Wisdom

Don’t overdo fasting and prayers. God is not wicked. Your children didn’t fast before you bought them Christmas clothes and gifts. Trust God, seek divine inspiration, and implement practical strategies for success.
