Donald Trump has deployed military personnel to Nigeria. Let me quickly warn: no crazy person should go and attack any American soldier. That group – in fact the whole of Nigeria – will never recover from the consequences of that action.
Let me speak Pidgin English now.
Trump don search for trouble. Make we pray say malaria no even affect the soldiers. Make nothing do them. Make trouble no come up from anywhere, because inside this Nigerian government, evil people and sympathizers with terrorists dey inside. If religious insanity carry anybody go touch any American soldier now, the consequences will be terrible.
Number two, the attack on the Kayama community in Kwara State is a disgrace to this nation. These criminals, Islamic militants from Sokoto State, were driven out and migrated to Kwara State. We all knew about the migration.
They sent a letter on January 8th telling the community that they were coming to preach, and the community rejected the preaching. They sent letters to the state government, DSS and other authorities. It is online. It is there. It is true. Google it.
The government deployed soldiers to that place. The people waited, and after the soldiers left, the attackers came and struck. From 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday till the next day, Wednesday, there was no response.
The stupidity of our political elite and the idiocy of their followers is unbelievable. People are busy decamping from one party to another while their people are being killed. You followers will carry broom, carry umbrella, wear T-shirts and caps, and follow politicians to campaigns, yet those same politicians cannot protect you.
When these criminals wrote that letter, why didn’t the authorities go after them? I saw somebody analyzing the road from here to there as an excuse. Don’t you have helicopters? Don’t you have jets? Can’t you deploy paratroopers? Is it only during Independence Day celebrations that people jump from helicopters? But when real danger comes, nobody acts.
They shot and killed many people. If you like, come and say it is AI. And then after everything, the governor will come out to talk.
I have never seen a generation of leaders as careless as this one, across party lines. People who have no value for life, no value for the country, and no value for citizens – and a group of blind followers supporting them.
The people who came to kill, are they not from the same region? The people killed, are they not also from the same region?
Those who say there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria are deceiving themselves. The people who came to “preach,” what were they going to preach? Were they going to preach to Christians or to Muslims? They were militants who wanted to forcefully impose radicalism.
The people kidnapped in Kaduna during worship – who were they? They were Christians.
Any person who says there is no Christian genocide in this country is not being truthful. The blood of innocent people is crying out.
Dozens of lives were wasted in Kwara State. And you people of Kwara, both at home and in Lagos and Ilorin, you are not protesting. You are not demonstrating. The Christian bodies in Kwara are not saying anything.
The situation is so hopeless.
Once again, I beg – nobody should touch American soldiers. They are here for their own mission. Let us pray for peace and wisdom for this nation.
