As I reflect on my life, I’ve identified five key areas where I’ve made significant investments, leading to a fulfilling life.
1. Intellectual Capacity: Developing my knowledge and skills has been the best investment I’ve made. I’ve pursued education throughout my life, including a Master’s degree in Public Administration at 56. This has enabled me to share my expertise with others.
2. Family: Investing in my children’s education and well-being has been crucial. My wife and I have sacrificed to support their growth, and now they’re independent and self-sufficient.
3. Business: Investing in business has provided financial stability, allowing me to pursue other passions. It’s essential to start early and be consistent.
4. Community: Contributing to my environment and society has brought numerous benefits. I strive to leave a positive impact wherever I go, and now the community supports me in return.
5. People: Investing in young people outside my family has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve spent time and resources mentoring and guiding them, and now they’re successful leaders, bishops, and millionaires. They’ve become like family, supporting me more than my biological children.
Remember, investing in young people is investing in the future. God bless you all.
