Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi's Second Son Yamutunized in Zintan Libya

On the 3rd of February, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the second son of Muammar Gaddafi was k!ll€d in Zintan, Libya. Masked gunmen went to his house and kpuffed him. He was 54 years old.

He was Western-educated, well-spoken, articulate. He was jailed in 2011 and later released, and he wanted to contest for the presidency of Libya. In fact, some of his schoolmates in the Western world thought it would be a break from the past, a move toward good governance and democratic leadership.

Good governance and democratic governance benefit everyone. But a revolution has no regulation, and it can annihilate nearly everyone.

So if Gaddafi thought that by sending Saif al-Islam to the Western world to gain education he would smoothly take over from him, he was wrong.

I keep telling people that if we don’t run this country well, it might not be comfortable for our children and grandchildren.
I was just listening to the news, and in Kwara State, terrorists and criminals went there and yamotonized many people.

You cannot destroy a country and think your children will come and rule it.
Your children will not have peace.
They may not live to enjoy the fruit of your labor.

I believe African leaders must always have the future in mind in all they do.
