To make progress, you must stop tolerating people who contribute little to your life but cause the most stress. This is a central theme in my video series “Start Again More Intelligently.” I’ve found that those who genuinely help you succeed place the fewest demands on you, while those who are most demanding and stressful often contribute the least.
I have learned to simply do away with people who create stress but don’t add value. People might call me harsh, but I see it as a refusal to tolerate stupidity. If you want to move forward, you have to be willing to let go of those who drain your energy without giving anything positive in return.
