Rivers State Traditional Rulers, Sole Admin, Natasha Akpoti -Uduaghan: Nigerians ; Very Predictable

I am your friend, Dr. Charles Apoki. One advantage of age is experience—you have seen more things than most people around you. I recently made a video where I compared Nigeria to a “Kasungu Republic,” referring to the predictability of Nigerians. Just like a warthog, which bends its front limbs to eat and reverses into its burrow when in danger, Nigerians, too, behave in predictable ways.

Those in power understand this predictability and exploit it to maintain their dominance. We see this play out repeatedly in various aspects of governance and political maneuvering.

The Predictability of Rivers State Traditional Rulers

When the sole administrator of Rivers State was appointed, I predicted that traditional rulers would rush to pay him homage. True to form, they were given less than 12 hours’ notice, yet they all reported “present, sir!”—except for one strategic traditional ruler appointed by Governor Fubara. This was no surprise to me.

A deeper layer of this political game was revealed when I observed the staff of office being given to Asari Dokubo during the crisis in the state. I understood the significance of this move immediately. Notably, Asari Dokubo was absent from the meeting with the sole administrator, and no one would dare question or summon him. Again, this was all highly predictable.

The Kogi State Recall Attempt

In Kogi State, an alleged attempt to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan took place. The method used was as laughable as it was tragic: people were invited for an “empowerment program,” with the promise of financial incentives. Given the level of poverty and how hunger has been weaponized, Nigerians, ever predictable, turned up with their voter cards and national identification numbers.

However, many of them did not realize they were signing documents for a recall process. It was only when some curious individuals began asking questions that they discovered what was happening. When the truth came out, people fled in protest.

Had I revealed the name of the individual being considered as Natasha’s replacement, many would have lost all hope in Nigeria. But this is the reality of our political system—an endless cycle of manipulation and exploitation of the people’s predictable nature.

The Unpredictable Side of Nigeria

While much about Nigeria is predictable, there is an unpredictable element that is coming, one that will shock many people. I won’t reveal it just yet, but mark my words—it will happen. A mistake I made was not making a video when my spirit ministered to me about the upcoming suppression of dissenting voices, the stifling of freedoms, and intimidation tactics that would be used. However, if you look at my previous videos, you will see that I had already spoken about fluctuating policy decisions in Nigeria. These things are unfolding before our eyes.

For instance, if I shared my prediction about the Calabar-Lagos Expressway, it would shock you. But when it eventually happens, remember I told you so. Nothing surprises me in Nigeria anymore. That is why I laugh—I am merely enjoying the drama, watching the same cycle repeat itself.

As for the newly appointed sole administrator in Rivers State, my prayer is that his “soul” does not become consumed in the process.

I remain Dr. Charles Apoki.
