I am your friend, Dr. Charles Apoki. Today, let us reflect on one of the most fundamental questions of life: What is the most important thing you need in your life?
If you were to ask different people, you would get a variety of answers. Some might say they need wealth; others might prioritize education, connections, or physical strength. While these are all valuable, they are not the ultimate answer.
When God gave Solomon a blank check—an opportunity to ask for anything he wanted—Solomon did not ask for riches, fame, or power. Instead, he asked for wisdom: “Give me wisdom to govern Your people.” This decision highlights an eternal truth: Wisdom is the principal thing.
Wealth can be squandered, strength will fade, education alone cannot solve life’s complexities, and connections might fail. But wisdom equips you to navigate life effectively, manage resources, and make decisions that lead to lasting impact.
The first application of wisdom is in managing yourself. Without self-governance, no amount of external success will suffice. Wisdom enables you to:
Prioritize what truly matters.
Handle challenges with grace and discernment.
Build a legacy that endures beyond your lifetime.
This is why I invite you to register for our upcoming webinar in January. It is titled “Hitting the Ground Running Financially in 2025.” In this session, we will explore practical strategies and wisdom principles to accelerate your progress in the coming year. It is not just about acquiring wealth; it is about the wisdom to sustain and grow it.
Remember, wisdom is the foundation upon which all other blessings stand. Seek it above all else, and everything else will fall into place.
I remain your friend, Dr. Charles Apoki.
