I want to talk to you about one of life’s important lessons: choosing the right bus. As I sit here, I’m reminded that life is full of bus stops—these stops represent choices, people, and decisions we encounter along the way. With each passing moment, buses pull up, each heading to a different destination. Some are shiny, alluring, or simply convenient. But not every bus is meant for us.
Right now, I’m waiting for the L97. That’s the one that will take me exactly where I need to go. Life is the same way. If we board the wrong bus—make the wrong decision, choose the wrong partner, join the wrong circle, or live in a place that doesn’t align with our purpose—then we won’t reach our intended destination.
Every decision you make in life either moves you closer to your destiny or pulls you further away from it. Don’t let impatience or distractions lead you onto the wrong path. Look carefully, be discerning, and make sure you’re getting on the bus that aligns with your destination.
As we strive for purpose and clarity, remember there’s always a path to the place called “there.” It’s your true destination. Be mindful not to board the wrong bus, as the detours can cost you valuable time and opportunities.
On that note, I want to invite you to my upcoming conference on Becoming a Person of Influence, taking place on the 8th and 9th of November. It’s a chance to gather insight, focus, and direction for your journey. Send a message to +234 80 2121 9262 to register. Don’t miss it.
God bless you as you journey toward your purpose
