What You Must Do to Be Rich in This Generation | Very Important

Greetings, I’m your friend, Dr. Charles Apoki. Today, I want to share an important message about how to achieve wealth and success in this generation. It’s late at night as I write this, but research has shown that many successful people often suffer from insomnia. While others are asleep, they are working on ideas, developing themselves, and getting ahead. I’ve found that much of my intellectual property has been created during the night. I’ve written most of my books during those quiet hours and have received countless inspirations at that time.

If you want to be rich, you must learn how to maximize your time. I enjoy working at night when others are sleeping. I plan, study, write, make videos, and even sell land while others are in their beds. Of course, everyone’s sleep patterns and schedules may differ, but successful people know how to make the most of their time. There’s a common saying: sleep and laziness are often associated with poverty and underdevelopment. While rest is essential, don’t let sleep consume the time you could be using to build your future.

One key principle I want to share is that if you want to be rich (R-I-C-H), you must be reachable (R-E-A-C-H-E-D). If people cannot reach you, you will not be rich. Think about it—most products, services, and companies ensure they are easy to contact. They put their phone numbers, emails, and addresses on their packaging. Why? Because they want to be reached, and they understand that being reachable leads to more opportunities and, ultimately, wealth.

In the Bible, David once asked, “Is there any descendant of Saul that I can bless because of Jonathan?” Someone responded, “Yes, Mephibosheth, who is crippled.” Even though Mephibosheth had experienced misfortune, he was still reachable, and he was brought to dine at the king’s table. This principle applies to us as well. You must be in a position where you can be reached by those who can elevate your life.

I’ve noticed that many people around me, including some of my workers, often have issues being reachable. Their phones are either switched off, broken, or they are in locations where they cannot be contacted. If people can’t reach you, how can opportunities come your way? In this digital age, your wealth and success are often tied to how many people know about you, how many people you can reach, and how many can reach you.

Let me share a personal story. There was a day on the farm when I wanted to take a nap and switch off my phone. But something inside me said, “Leave the phone on; phones are for opportunities.” Not long after, I received a call that brought in 700,000 Naira. That same contact led to an additional 1.5 million Naira in total. All from just one phone call.

This shows how being reachable can directly impact your financial well-being. In this dispensation, wealth is often audience-related. The more people you can reach and who can reach you, the more opportunities you will have for success.

Finally, I’d like to remind you that I have an upcoming conference on the 8th and 9th of November, titled Becoming a Person of Influence. This event will teach you how to grow your influence and leverage it for success. To register, send a WhatsApp message to +23480 2121 9262 before the end of October. After October, the registration fee will increase, so hurry!

The last conference saw 371 people from over 20 countries in attendance. This time, we are going even deeper into how to become influential in your generation. Don’t miss out on this life-changing opportunity!

I remain your friend,
Dr. Charles Apoki
God bless you
