I was recently watching a live video on YouTube featuring a prominent man of God. In this video, he sent armed policemen to arrest a former church member. The man was screaming, speaking to his lawyer, and it made me wonder: isn’t this the same person who teaches us to pray that our enemies should fall down and die? Fire, fire! If you have an enemy, why does your fire not make that man fall down and become paralyzed or even fall into a coma? If you want to go to a higher length, let him fall down and die. But instead, you have resorted to using the police to harass your former member.
A Call for Reason:
Church people, listen: use your brain for once. When I talk, some of you who are caged in religion, and imprisoned by religious leaders come and open your mouths to speak rubbish. Let him use Holy Ghost Fire to make the boy fall down and paralyze, because the boy is an enemy. Use your brains. Let us practice Christianity that can lead to development rather than delusional Christianity.
Religion and Reason:
Let us not confirm Karl Marx’s theory or postulation that religion is the opium of the people. If you go to Kabul in Afghanistan, you will see people who are drunken on heroin from opium. They are dazed; they can’t reason; they are imprisoned by what they have taken in. Many of you are deluded. Many of you are imprisoned. Many of you are hypnotized. Many of you have been mentally and intellectually paralyzed. You dare not reason for yourself.
When they came to arrest Jesus, he simply said, “I am,” and they fell down. Let these leaders use the same power that makes you quick, quick, quick, shake your head, and deal with their enemies. Why are they calling the police? Doesn’t the scripture say that by their fruits, we shall know them? Wisdom is profitable.
