Institutionalising Responsibility

There are times I wonder why I do the things I do in life?

There is a greater force that controls my choices, contrary to my natural self.

It’s true I derive fun from the simple and natural life, but I could spend what I’m investing on social entrepreneurship on my wife and I, and we will have a great time.

There is so much poverty in this country presently, particularly in the suburban areas. Tragically, it’s the women folks that feel the pain.

I can’t throw money at people; it’s not sustainable. The little I pay my workers on a daily basis go a long way to feeding and solving their little problems.

A lot of us are very far from the pains and reality of what people pass through, especially our women.

During the Christmas season, one of my partners, Salimo Wits Foundation, bought rice, beans, and garri that we shared to close to 200 people in my community, Effurun Otor. It was a thing of joy to behold.

I believe that the establishment of Petra Institute, Effurun-Otor, will lead to so many economic activities that will positively impact the towns and villages around.

I detest poverty because it nearly marred my life.

I want to contribute my little bit to humanity and the development of Africa.
