Anything you pull off before taking your bath or going to bed is your carton.

What cannot be taken from you, but determines your value, defines your contents.

It is true that my Archbishop Benson Idahosa said, “Dress the way you want to be addressed”. However, don’t be addressed as a Lion and behave or perform like a goat. My Archbishop Benson Idahosa dressed to match his grace, gifting, performance, results, and content. His evidence and content were far beyond his “carton”. He was far greater than what we saw in the exterior.

People are spending too much effort, resources, and time preparing cartons with very little content.

The poor and lowly spend so much time, money, and energy pretending to become who they are not. It is called simulation. While the rich effortlessly try to be less than who they are. It is called dissimulation.

Check out Mark Zuckerberg, Bill and Melinda Gates, Tom Cook, Steve Jobs, Jimmy Carter, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and many others.

Don’t struggle to belong or liked.

Don’t fake it until you make it.

Pay the price of humility, consistency, discipline, frugality, hard work, and produce content; those you used to look up to will come looking for you.

Produce content, and those you once admired will enquire about you.

As I have always said, “manufacture content before you market yourself“.

Develop content before you display your carton.

    God bless you.
